Message from the Executive Director
Thank you for a Great First Year
Dear Friends and Supporters,
As I end my first year with the Sean Kimerling Testicular Cancer Foundation, our shared mission to raise Awareness, provide Answers and promote Action in the fight against testicular cancer is more vital than ever. Testicular cancer continues to be the most common cancer in young men. Incidence rates increase annually. Almost 9000 men are diagnosed with the disease each year.
As you'll see in the newsletter below, 2012 was a very productive one for the Foundation. We hope that 2013 will be even better. With your continued support, in the coming year we will:
- Engage brand new audiences, including survivors and the newly diagnosed
- Unveil a new and improved seankimerling.org
- Drive awareness via partnerships with healthcare and school systems
- Bring the testicular cancer issue to the national media spotlight
- Create a culture of Awareness, Answers and Action in the fight against the disease
We require your help to make this happen. We need your support, and we promise that your contribution will make a difference. 2013 will be the tenth anniversary of Sean’s passing, and our work is far from done. We ask you to dig deep, give generously, and help us create a world where no man dies from this disease.
Rob Eccles, MBA, MHP
