NBC 4/ Telemundo 47 Health & Fitness Expo

Amazing Day educating and meeting new faces at the NBC 4/ Telemundo 47 Health & Fitness Expo. Mr. Checkem’ was a huge hit!

If you missed him, his next appearance will be at the Running of the Balls on August 10th on Governor’s Island.

 
 

The 2nd Annual D.C. Running of the Balls was held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Hains Point/ E. Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. Our supporters had fun, ran and CONTINUE to spread the word about this deadly but highly treatable disease. Testicular Cancer Awareness Bar Night & Fundraiser hosted by The Brotherhood of ONYX NY Northeast Organization and LGBTQI+ Community Activist Spokesman, Jeffrey aka Leo Donato came out to educate and empower men of color on TC, during the month of April also known as April Testicular Cancer Awareness Month at The Eagle Bar in Chelsea, NYC.

The 6th Annual Running of the Balls was held on June 10, 2018 at Roosevelt Island and was a great success with over 900 runners. A Special thanks to our friends at PIX11/Tribune Media and Mr.G for your support throughout the years and to fellow TC survivor and NY Yankee Tyler Austin for coming to the run. Dr. Joseph Alukal, Director of Male Reproductive Health at NYU School of Medicine, taught guys how to perform a  self examination and answered any questions folks had. Mr. Check 'Em as always was widely popular. We met a lot of great people including several survivors, fathers and sons, fathers and daughters and people who have traveled near and far just to make it to our Running of the Balls!

Blackout Burnout Bootcamp hosted by Transform Fitness and Training of Tuckahoe New York held on January 5th 2018 at 7:30pm. Co-owner Brian Harrington is not only an advocate for this foundation but also is celebrating his 5th year cancer free. Through the endless support of family, friends, and The Sean Kimerling Foundation Brian was able to FIGHT AND SURVIVE!
